Marcos Pereira and Florencia Borgnia

Marcos Pereira and Florencia Borgnia are Argentine Tango dancers, performers and instructors from Argentina and currently based in New York City.
 
They started their career together in 2013, performing at many Tango Shows in Buenos Aires. They have been dedicated to tango since their early age, having the opportunity to learn and being inspired by most of the well known tango masters in Buenos Aires.
 
In 2023 they got 9th Place in the World Tango Championship.
 
In 2024 they got 3rd Place in the Buenos Aires City Tango Championship.
 
During the latest years, they have been travelling all around the USA, Asia and Latin America, teaching and performing at several Tango Festivals; they were also part of the main cast of several Shows throughout the USA, such as "Tango Argentina" and "Ella es Tango", among others.
 
They are currently Instructors at Ballet Hispánico, the prestigious and world-renowned Dance School in New York City.

LIABILITY WAIVER

 

WAIVER OF LIABLITY AND MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION: By registering for this class, I hereby consent to the aforementioned student participating in or watching dance, dance workshops, rehearsals, events or performance and other related activities (collectively “Activities”) with SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL.  I recognize that and assume all liability for potentially severe injuries, including permanent paralysis or death which can occur in any activities including, but not limited to, those involving, exercise, dance, or motion.  I hereby release SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL, its owner(s), agents, volunteers, assistants, employees, guest artists, instructors and staff members from any and all liability claims, demands, or causes of action whatsoever from any and all damages suffered by the student while under the instruction or supervision of SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL.  I also agree to release and hold harmless SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL, including its owner(s), instructors and its staff as well as the facilities used by SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL, from any cause of action, claims or demands of any nature whatsoever arising from or out of the activities.  I also fully understand that the owner(s), instructors and staff at SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL are not physicians or medical practitioners or any kind.  With that in mind, I hereby authorize owner(s), instructors and staff at SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL to render first aid to the student in the event of any injury or illness, and if deemed necessary, to call an ambulance or for medical aid and payment of for which I agree to be solely responsible.  This Waiver of Liability and Medical Authorization has been read thoroughly and understood completely by me and as such is acknowledged by my voluntary signature below.

 

PHOTOGRAPH AND VIDEO RELEASE: I grant permission to be photographed or videotaped during activities at or with SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL and grant SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL permission to use such recordings for promotional purposes.  Such recordings are the sole property of SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL.

 

SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL TERMS AND CONDITION / MISCELLANEOUS: I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the attached SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL Terms and Conditions, which are part of this agreement and may be changed, upon reasonable prior notice, at any time by SAN ANTONIO TANGO FESTIVAL without my consent.  This Student Agreement and Liability Waiver shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws the state of Texas, excluding its choice of law rules.  Any dispute arising under this Student Agreement and Liability Waiver shall be brought in the courts located in San Antonio Bexar County, Texas.

 

I have read, completed, understand and agree to all of the previous information.  I also understand that I am entitled to copy of the Student Agreement and Liability Waiver upon request.
